About our Study:
Come and join our group!  We meet on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We come a little early and visit, just to catch up.  So, we are also a loving, caring, social group.  We start our morning singing!  And, sometimes even clapping!  Yes, singing and offering our day to the Holy Spirit!  Our whole study group is dedicated to the Holy Spirit, and often times, we really feel His presence. 

Our "year" coincides with the school year - August thru May.  Then we meet once a month through the summer to make sure we are all OK, or if we need extra help or prayers.  Sometimes we end our bible study time by going to lunch together - just to be together and because we care.

This year we all decided that we would like to feel more involved in the Sunday Mass.  So, with that in mind, we chose "AT HOME  with the  WORD 2020.  It is for year A, Sunday Scriptures and Scripture Insights.  We read all the readings for the upcoming Sunday and came ready to discuss what we read.  We start with 2-3 questions for each reading and our main focus is to first put ourselves into the times of the readings; then, we put ourselves in the here and now.  Sometimes, we even see that nothing much has changed from then to now.  We learn from each other, share how we think in each reading, and how we would feel if St. Paul or Isiah or another prophet were here with us - or, even if God chose to be with us this day.

Each meeting has allowed time for intercessory prayers for each other, our church, and our community.  We even have a "heavy on my heart" time for extra prayers we may have forgotten; and sometimes we just want to say "Thank you, God for everything You've given us"
