Respect Life

The Dignity of the Human Person:

We believe that every person is precious and human life has dignity. Psalm 139: 13-16 says that, God formed each of us and knows us intimately. St. Pope John Paul II says that, “human persons are willed by God; they are imprinted with God's image. Their dignity does not come from the work they do, but from the persons they are”. St. Patrick’s Respect Life program seeks to share the truth of the dignity of all human life through community events, fundraisers, marches for life, and other diocesan-based activities.

The mission of St. Patrick's Respect Life Committee (“SPRLC”) is to inform, educate and motivate our parishioners to action in advocating and living Catholic Church teaching on sanctity of life from conception to natural death.

Communicate parish, diocese and national news and activity regarding Pro Life.

Coordinate participation in specific Diocese activities for the parish including 40 Days for Life.
