The Sacrament of Confirmation seals our Baptism, as we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, through the Sacrament of Confirmation, strengthens us and sets us on fire with a burning love for God and neighbor. Confirmation helps us to recognize and use our gifts and talents as we receive the Holy Spirit as gift. We become, through the grace of the Holy Spirit, strengthened to bear witness to the message of Christ "for the building up of His body in faith and in love".

Come, Holy Spirit. Spirit of truth, you are the reward of the saints, the comforter of souls, light in the darkness, riches to the poor, treasure to lovers, food for the hungry, comfort to those who are wandering; to sum up, you are the one in whom all treasures are contained.
